Breach is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter that places heavy emphasis on cover and the use of destructible environments to gain a tactical advantage. During the course of a single match, players can alter the battlefield in a variety of ways, including destroying any floor or ceiling to surprise or crush foes, blasting holes in walls to create a door or protective cover, and targeting enemy cover and sniper's nests to leave opponents exposed. Gamers can stick to cover with the push of a single button, at which point the camera switches from a first-person view to a third-person view to allow for a better vantage point while blind-firing.
