Cabela's Ultimate Deer Hunt 2 allows players to hunt Whitetail, Mule, and Blacktail Deer in six different regions: Idaho, Texas, Washington, Alaska, Missouri, and Michigan. Firearms include a 12-gauge, a .243, a .270, a .338, a .30-06, and a muzzle loader; a recurve and compound bow are also available. Players can select their hunting gear, prepare a blind, place decoys, wear a cover scent, select ammo types (soft tip and different bullet weights), use two-way radios, and undertake 26 increasingly difficult hunting missions.
